Alex is a qualified engineer with more than 25 years experience in engineering operations and management consulting, and as a business advisor provides services to government and industry. As a consultant Alex has worked for a number of major consulting firms including PricewaterhouseCoopers, Booz Allen Hamilton (now Booz & Company) and KPMG. He holds an MBA in Technology Management and a Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
With his experience in capital intensive industries Alex is able to help his clients identify the reasons for unsatisfactory performance, to work with them to define feasible improvement options, and to then develop the chosen improvement strategies into practical solutions delivering defined outcomes and associated benefits.
He is passionate about successful project delivery and uses a collaborative approach ensuring the ongoing involvement of stakeholders, transfer of knowledge, and ultimately ownership of the outcomes by his clients.
